Is Your Website Over 2 Years Old? Time for a Website Redesign.

Just like fashion changes every season, so do website trends. Not that you need a website redesign with every new season, of course. Let me ask you a question though…

How old is your website?

If it’s been 2 or more years since you designed your website, there’s a good chance it’s a bit dated and it’s time for a facelift!

You see, websites date (Just like the rest of us — well, maybe except JLo I guess). Just think of how many fashion styles or even hairstyles we’ve all been through in our lives (yeah, I remember the Farrah Fawcett hairstyle that I loved so much) and websites are just the same. It’s the nature of the beast.

We’re all guilty of judging a website by first appearance, so as much as it really pains me to say it, an outdated website may be costing you conversions.

In addition, there are so many new ways of capturing leads and nurturing online relationships that you may be missing out on. Do you know what lead pages and funnels are? Do you know about email nurturing series? Do you know what a responsive website is? Most of all, are you putting all this into practice on your own website?  If not, you may be leaving money on the table. Ka-ching!

Just like in love, first impressions matter. If your website is over two years old, you may need a designer’s touch to give it that competitive edge and make a great first impression.

It’s not bad. But it is missing a few key elements that are being used today in webdesign.

There’s no visible Call-to-Action. A huge opportunity to effectively convert visitors to customers is missing. In order to call or even find out if they are actually open at the time visitors land on their website, they have to scroll to the bottom and look at the tiny phone number and schedule. (Say good-bye to impatient visitors like me.) We need to make it easy for visitors to contact us. In addition, there’s no lead capture either. This is a big one! How are you going to contact the visitors to your website again and again, if you don’t know who they are or how to nurture a relationship with them? There are a few things that need to be updated on this website, but I’ll stop here and let you see the face lift this website redesign project got. It’s spectacular!

What a huge improvement, right?

This is a perfect example of a website that looked fine, but was truly lacking all the latest website trends. This redesign, done by Web123, is freaking spectacular! This is what a redesign should do; bring the latest trends to your website to help you attract, convert and nurture. A website is an investment. Its a crucial investment in your business. Don’t let it end the day you launch it.

Constantly load posts, add images, change images, include documents, videos, new information, etc. to keep your visitors coming back. Then, when needed, get a website redesign done.
